    Git commands

    Git cheat sheet

    https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/atlassian-git-cheatsheet

    •  git reset –hard origin/master     ==== to overwrite your files with repository files
    • git reset –hard origin/master     ==== to overwrite your files with repository files
    • git add –all                       ==== to add files to index (to stage your changes)
    • git reset                           ===== to remove files from index (to unstage your changes)
    • git commit -m “your commit message” ==== to commit to your local repository
    • git pull origin your brachname ==== to pull the code from remote repository
    • git push origin your brachname ==== to push your code to remote repository.

To see branch list: git branch -a or git branch

To switch between the branches git checkout branch-name

before switching to branches make sure your working tree is clean (means should be updated).
or you can do git stash

and after git stash, switch to branch and git pull and git stash –apply

    $> git branch
    master
    another_branch
    feature_inprogress_branch
    $> git checkout feature_inprogress_branch

The above example demonstrates how to view a list of available branches by executing the git branch command, and switch to a specified branch, in this case, the feature_inprogress_branch
